About the role The Data Analyst (Fresher) at Uolo is the bridge between the data and the decision. Your work centres on learning the analytics stack on live business data under a senior analyst using SQL, Excel and Power BI, and on making sure that everyone reading your numbers understands what they mean and how far they can be trusted. Key responsibilities • Prepare and clean datasets for the analytics team under a senior analyst • Build simple dashboards and recurring reports, reviewed before release • Run first-pass analyses and summarise what the data shows • Cross-check published numbers against source systems • Document your queries and steps so the work is repeatable • Validate and reconcile numbers before they are published, and document known data caveats • Automate recurring reporting so the team spends its time on analysis rather than refreshes • Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in clear, plain language Required skills and tools • SQL • Advanced Excel • Power BI • Tableau • Python (Pandas) • Data Cleaning • Data Visualization • Descriptive Statistics • Dashboarding • Business Acumen • Stakeholder Communication • Documentation Eligibility criteria • Education: any graduate — B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA/MCA, B.Com, BBA or MBA.
