Cyber Operate - Digital Identity - Okta - Consultant

Summary Position Summary As an experienced Consultant Lead at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you'll do As a Consultant on the Cyber Operate team, you will be responsible for supporting the stability, security, and efficiency of identity and access management operations for technical and business stakeholders.

  • Lead high-priority Okta identity and access management managed services operations, ensuring end-to-end service excellence, stability, and client satisfaction.
  • Drive service improvement initiatives, process optimization, and automation across multiple accounts and environments.
  • Manage escalations and advanced troubleshooting, interfacing with technology vendors and cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Lead medium-to-large Okta implementation and enhancement projects, guiding requirements analysis, solution design, and execution.
  • Develop operational and governance reports for client leadership and support thought leadership and business development on Okta service delivery models, transition plans, and value realization.
The team Deloitte's Cyber Operate teams manage clients' critical cyber assets either as a fully managed service or in partnership with clients. They deliver skilled talent, cutting-edge technologies, and robust processes to operate client cyber capabilities. This includes:
  • Managing Identity Lifecycle
  • Leading Access management for various applications.
  • Security Operations
  • Threat Intelligence
  • Application Security
  • Business Transformation
  • Continuous Compliance.
Cyber Operate team focuses on efficiently running operations by enabling automation, reducing manual effort and adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) based on the standards set by clients. Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai Shift Timings: 24x7 rotational shifts; night, weekend, and holiday coverage required; on-call support based on project assignments Qualifications Required:
  • 3-6 years of experience in identity and access management, cybersecurity, or managed services delivery
  • 3+ years supporting Okta in managed services, including experience leading support programs and service delivery teams
  • Experience with Okta operations, including incident management, root cause analysis, optimization, and audit or compliance procedures
  • Experience leading medium-to-large Okta enhancement or implementation projects
  • Experience with information technology service management frameworks, governance, continuous improvement, and service reporting
  • Knowledge of global and authentication policies, release updates, feature adoption, and multi-factor authentication enrollment functions
  • Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent degree from an accredited university
Preferred:
  • Experience managing multi-client, multi-region Okta Workflows and customer identity and access management operations
  • Experience integrating Okta Workflows and customer identity and access management with enterprise platforms
  • Experience with Okta Workflow automation and Active Directory Agent integration
  • Knowledge of Okta Access Gateway and security information and event management tools
  • Knowledge of scripting in PowerShell or Python
  • Advanced certifications such as ITIL, Okta Administrator, Okta Professional, Okta Consultant, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional
