Customer Delight Executive - ( Study Abroad )

About Ambitio: Copilot for Education Abroad

At Ambitio, we're building India's first AI-powered global admissions platform that helps students get into their dream schools. Our mission is to democratize access to quality global education by making the admissions process 10x easier through personalized AI guidance. We combine advanced AI technology with alumni mentorship to help students build stronger profiles and craft compelling applications.

We're a founding team of IIT BHU alumni who have experienced firsthand the challenges of global higher education admissions. More than 100,000+ users have explored our platform and have received admits from top institutions like

Stanford, Oxford, NYU, Cornell, Columbia, and other leading universities. We're backed by notable investors including BLinC Invest, First Cheque, and We

Founder Circle.

About the Role

As the Customer Delight Associate at Ambitio, you will own the end-to-end student experience across our products - Nova, Elite, and Apex - from onboarding through application submission. You will be the resident expert on what makes a student feel genuinely supported, translating every interaction into trust,

retention, and referrals for the platform.

This role is purpose-built for someone who understands that in study abroad, no amount of AI guidance replaces the feeling of a real person being in your corner during a high-stakes, high-anxiety decision. You will work closely with founders,

the admissions team, and product to make sure every student's experience on

Ambitio matches the promise of the brand.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the emotional weight of the admissions journey - missed deadlines, stalled essays, anxious parents and wants to turn that understanding into measurable satisfaction, retention, and word-of-mouth growth at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Student Experience Ownership

● Own the end-to-end delight framework across the student journey, from onboarding to application submission.

● Identify friction points in the current student experience and drive structured improvements across process, communication, and tooling.

● Stay current on student sentiment trends and satisfaction patterns across

Ambitio's product lines.

Student Engagement & Support

● Conduct regular check-ins with students to track progress and surface concerns early, before they become churn risk.

● Gather and act on structured feedback to keep NPS and satisfaction scores high.

● Help students and parents feel confident and informed throughout an otherwise stressful process.

Reporting & Insight Generation

● Build and maintain weekly/monthly reports on student satisfaction, NPS,

and referral metrics.

● Collaborate with the product team to translate recurring student feedback into concrete improvements.

● Represent the voice of the student in internal strategy conversations with founders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

● Work closely with the Product team to inform features that reduce student friction and improve outcomes.

● Partner with the Admissions team to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent student experience.

● Feed qualitative insights from student interactions back into product and admissions roadmaps.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

This makes you a fit

● 1+ years of experience in customer success, pre-sales, or a student/client-facing role.

● Excellent communicator with high emotional intelligence - you can read when a student's "I'm fine" isn't fine.

● Data-driven but people-focused, comfortable moving between metrics and empathy.

● Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a bias toward ownership.

● Bachelor's degree required.

This sets you apart

● Experience building or nurturing a community, formally or informally.

● Prior exposure to edtech, study abroad, or student-facing platforms in any capacity.

● Ability to think beyond individual conversations and systemize support into scalable playbooks.

● Strong written communication: you can write a clear check-in note, a sharp feedback summary, or a compelling report with equal ease.

● A genuine desire to make a broader impact beyond one-on-one support,

and excitement about shaping how Ambitio defines "delight" as it scales.

Why Join Us?

● You will redefine how India experiences study-abroad support: your impact doesn't end with one student conversation; it scales into trust and referrals across thousands of aspirants navigating one of the most formative decisions of their lives.

● You get real ownership of a high-impact function: this is not a support role in the traditional sense. You directly move NPS, retention, and referral numbers, and you shape how those improvements get built.

● Your people skills finally meet real-world scale: you've spent time understanding what makes people feel supported. Here, that instinct becomes a system of playbooks, reports, and product inputs that improve outcomes for thousands, not just one relationship at a time.

● You work with people who move fast and care deeply: a small, sharp team of builders who respect student-first thinking and give you the space and trust to own your work end to end.

Hiring Process

We're looking for people-first operators who are ready to build, not just support.

Here's how we approach hiring:

Round 1 — Empathy & Problem Solving: How you break down a real student support challenge, identify the underlying need, and structure a clear path forward.
Round 2 — Strategy & Framework Thinking: How you would approach building Ambitio's delight function — from check-ins and reporting to product inputs and scale — along with your working style and values.
Round 3 — Founders' Round: A final conversation with Ambitio's founders to align on values, ownership, and long-term fit. This is less about testing skills you've already demonstrated, and more about making sure you're someone we want building the student experience with us for years, not just months.
Offer : If your expertise, clarity, and values align, we move fast.
