CREATIVE CONTENT STRATEGIST - Fresher (WFH)

About the job:

We are looking for a creative content strategist to help us figure out what Wily Gecko should say, how we should say it, and which format will make the idea most compelling. This is not a conventional social media management role. You will not simply be given a content calendar and asked to make posts. Your job is to think.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research our target audience, competitors and the content they consume.
2. Find interesting marketing, business and creative insights worth talking about.
3. Generate content ideas and angles for Wily Gecko.
4. Develop strong hooks for Reels, videos and other content.
5. Write and develop short-form video scripts.
6. Help turn one strong insight into multiple pieces of content.
7. Decide whether an idea is better suited to a Reel, carousel, founder-led video, case study or another format.
8. Study how content performs and identify what we should make more of.
9. Help develop recurring content series and a distinctive Wily Gecko point of view.
10. Work closely with the founder and production team to turn ideas into finished content.

Important:

1. You do not need to already be an expert marketer.
2. We're happy to teach you the marketing frameworks and business context.
3. What is much harder to teach is curiosity, creative instinct, good writing and the ability to recognize an interesting idea.
3. Our production team will handle much of the video editing and design execution, so this role is primarily focused on research, thinking, ideation, hooks, scripts and content strategy.
