Title: CPT-11437 Walmart WFS Product Sourcing & E-Commerce Virtual Assistant

Independent Contractor – CPT-11437 Walmart WFS Product Sourcing & E-Commerce Virtual Assistant/e-Commerce VA/Junior-Advanced Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

A U.S.-based e-commerce seller is seeking an experienced Walmart WFS Virtual Assistant to help restart and grow an existing Walmart marketplace business.
The primary responsibility will be product sourcing, followed by listing management, shipping coordination, inventory management, customer return management, and basic customer support. The client already has an established Walmart account and some existing inventory but wants an experienced VA who can help rebuild the operation with minimal supervision.
Direct Walmart marketplace/WFS experience is required. General Amazon or similar experience alone is not sufficient because the client specifically needs someone familiar with Walmart's sourcing environment, systems, and fulfillment processes.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

Product Sourcing

  • Research profitable products for resale through Walmart (Online Arbitrage/Wholesale)
  • Evaluate sourcing opportunities against client-defined profitability criteria
  • Target products with approximately 20%+ ROI and 4-5+ net profit
  • Avoid gated or restricted products and identify potential intellectual property risks
  • Document viable sourcing opportunities for client review
  • Prioritize sustainable and profitable products rather than volume alone

Walmart WFS Operations

  • Create and maintain Walmart product listings
  • Assist with WFS shipping plans and fulfillment workflows
  • Monitor inventory levels and product availability
  • Maintain accurate product and inventory information
  • Assist with restarting and organizing the client's existing Walmart operation

E-Commerce Support

  • Monitor basic customer service requirements
  • Maintain organized sourcing, inventory, and operational records
  • Track product performance and relevant e-commerce information
  • Support additional Walmart marketplace responsibilities as the business grows

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

  • Previous Walmart Marketplace/WFS experience required
  • Walmart product sourcing experience required
  • Experience calculating ROI, net profit, and product viability required
  • Experience with Walmart listing and inventory management required
  • Familiarity with WFS shipping and fulfillment processes required
  • Understanding of gated/restricted products and IP risk preferred
  • Previous Amazon or similar experience is a plus but does not replace Walmart experience
  • Strong spreadsheet and e-commerce data-management skills

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Direct experience operating within Walmart Marketplace and WFS
  • Strong product sourcing and profitability-analysis skills
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Understands Walmart-specific marketplace restrictions and sourcing challenges
  • Organized with strong inventory and listing-management habits
  • Interested in growing from part-time into a full-time e-commerce position

APPLICATION SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGEABLE / REQUIRED

  • Walmart Seller Center
  • Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS)
  • Walmart Product Sourcing / Research Tools
  • Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
  • E-Commerce Inventory & Listing Tools

Work Schedule

  • Contracted Hours per Week: 20 Hours (Expected to increase toward full-time by end of year)
  • Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday (unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing)
  • Daily Working Time: 4-Hour Shift (Must intersect with PST business hours during onboarding)
