Corporate Actions - MAS

Position Summary

The Senior Specialist, Corporate Actions supports the accurate and timely processing of corporate action events across Archer's managed account solutions. This role is responsible for maintaining corporate action data, administering mandatory and voluntary events, resolving processing exceptions, and ensuring the integrity of portfolio and account information. Working closely with custodians, investment managers, sponsors, and internal business partners, the Senior Specialist helps ensure corporate action activity is processed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with operational controls.

Key Responsibilities

Process mandatory and voluntary corporate action events, including mergers, acquisitions, tender offers, stock splits, rights offerings, dividends, and other securities-related transactions.

Monitor corporate action announcements and event notifications to ensure timely and accurate processing across managed account portfolios.

Coordinate with custodians, sponsors, investment managers, and internal stakeholders to support election management and event processing activities.

Maintain and validate corporate action data across operational systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of account, position, cash, and entitlement information.

Research, analyze, and resolve corporate action exceptions, discrepancies, and processing issues.

Perform reconciliations and review event-related activity to support accurate reporting and operational processing.

Support account onboarding, maintenance, and servicing activities related to corporate action events.

Utilize operational systems and workflow tools to process, monitor, and track corporate action activity.

Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding event status, outstanding requirements, and processing issues.

Maintain compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in corporate actions, investment operations, asset servicing, client processing, managed accounts, or a related financial services environment.

Knowledge of corporate action event processing, reconciliations, exception management, and transaction support activities.

Familiarity with securities markets, investment products, custodial platforms, and operational workflows.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Experience working with operational systems, workflow tools, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.

Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholder groups.

Demonstrated commitment to client service, operational excellence, and risk awareness.
