Community & Consumer Acquisition Lead (KJU Students)

<p><strong>COMPANY BACKGROUND</strong></p><p>Sukh Souk is a Middle Eastern culinary brand specialising in shawarma, al faham and mandi. The brand was established in Manipal, where it built a substantial following within the student community and became a recognised destination within the local dining landscape.</p><p>We are now launching our first food truck in Kothanur, North Bangalore, adjacent to Kristu Jayanti University. The location presents a well-defined opportunity: a dense and underserved student catchment with no established Middle Eastern offering in the immediate vicinity.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>PURPOSE OF THE ROLE</strong></p><p>The appointee will serve as the primary interface between the Sukh Souk brand, the Kristu Jayanti student body, and the wider residential catchment surrounding the site.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>NOTE: THIS ROLE IS PRESENTLY OPEN ONLY TO KRISTU JAYANTI STUDENTS (CURRENTLY ENROLLED)</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p><strong>1. Campus Partnerships & Institutional Engagement</strong></p><p><span>•    </span>Establish and maintain working relationships with student clubs, societies, departmental bodies and cultural committees across the university.</p><p><span>•    </span>Secure Sukh Souk's participation in campus events — festivals, club programmes, sporting fixtures and departmental functions — in the capacity of food partner, sponsor or on-site vendor.</p><p><span>•    </span>Maintain visibility of the university calendar and provide advance notice of commercially significant dates to enable adequate operational planning.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>2. Local Community Activation</strong></p><p><span>•    </span>Extend engagement beyond the campus to residential complexes, resident welfare associations, fitness centres, coaching institutes and other organised groups within the Kothanur catchment.</p><p><span>•    </span>Develop institutional tie-ups, group arrangements and periodic activations designed to generate incremental footfall.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>3. Event Management</strong></p><p><span>•    </span>Conceptualise and execute brand-led events at and around the site, including launch activations, screenings, festival programming and tasting sessions.</p><p><span>•    </span>Assume end-to-end responsibility for event delivery — budgeting, coordination, execution and post-event reporting on attendance and commercial outcome.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>4. Digital & Social Media</strong></p><p><span>•    </span>Manage a defined portion of the brand's social media presence on a day-to-day basis, including content publication, event coverage and community response handling.</p><p><span>•    </span>Generate original content from live operations, prioritising authentic documentation of the customer experience over produced material.</p><p><span>•    </span>Operate within the brand guidelines and content direction established by the Head of Branding & Marketing.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>5. Consumer Insight & Feedback</strong></p><p><span>•    </span>Gather structured customer feedback on product quality, pricing, portioning and service standards, and report findings to management.</p><p><span>•    </span>Communicate operational shortcomings candidly and promptly. Accurate reporting of deficiencies is regarded as a core function of this role.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>CANDIDATE PROFILE</strong></p><p><span>•    </span>Currently enrolled at Kristu Jayanti University, in any programme or year of study.</p><p><span>•    </span>Demonstrable involvement in campus life through clubs, societies, teams or event committees, with established networks across the student body.</p><p><span>•    </span>Confident interpersonal skills, including the ability to initiate contact with unfamiliar parties and pursue matters to conclusion.</p><p><span>•    </span>Practical competence in social media content creation, particularly short-form video, using standard mobile tools.</p><p><span>•    </span>Sound organisational discipline and the ability to deliver events independently and to schedule.</p><p><span>•    </span>Willingness to provide honest assessment to management, including on matters that reflect unfavourably on current operations.</p><p>Prior marketing experience is not a prerequisite.
