This assignment posting is for an Agency Worker opportunity with People Inc. The Agency Worker is paid by a staffing agency employer. Agency Workers will receive a W2 from the staffing agency reporting their earnings for tax purposes.Commerce News and Deals Writer, Amazon VerticalThe Commerce team is looking for a News and Deals Writer for the Amazon vertical to create shopping content for several People Inc. brands — Travel and Leisure, PEOPLE, InStyle, Food & Wine, Real Simple, and more — focusing on deals and compelling products on sale. They will have the opportunity to write content covering all product categories, including travel, fashion, beauty, home, food, and tech. This role requires someone who is passionate about writing, shopping, finding great deals, and can produce multiple articles per day, creating content that inspires People Inc.’s large audiences to make informed purchases.This is a 40-hour/week contract position with competitive hourly rates commensurate with experience. The right candidate will have the potential to extend their contract and may have the opportunity to join the team full-time.
