Client Onboarding & Funding Officer - Fresher (WFH)

About the job:

Key responsibilities:

1. Receive onboarding handovers, register each case, and maintain its checklist, status, deadlines and evidence.
2. Verify that client, service and funding information is complete, current, organised and traceable to a reliable source.
3. Cross-check names, dates, amounts, service periods, rates, support assumptions and payment information.
4. Identify missing evidence, contradictions and figures that do not reconcile. Record questions clearly and escalate uncertainty rather than guessing.
5. Maintain file naming, version control, change history and document status, and follow actions to closure.
6. Enter and maintain accurate information in structured spreadsheets and control workbooks.
7. Translate approved service plans into weekly, monthly and plan-period costs using the rates and assumptions provided.
8. Reconcile funding, planned expenditure, service dates and payment streams, identifying shortfalls, duplication, over-utilisation or misalignment.
9. Summarise confirmed facts, assumptions, outstanding information, risks and decisions required.
10. Protect formulas and controls; never force figures to balance or alter support assumptions simply to make funding fit.

12. Update controlled records following review and ensure corrections are made at the source with a traceable audit trail.
13. Prepare accurate information and evidence for agreements, administration, service commencement, accounting review and early invoice checks.
