Overview of the Job

To join our culinary team, we are looking for a competent and driven chef. The ideal applicant will ideally have a solid foundation in culinary arts and food preparation, as well as the capacity to motivate and lead a group of people in a busy restaurant setting. As a chef, your duties will include managing the kitchen, making sure food safety regulations are followed, and producing mouthwatering dishes that satisfy our patrons.

Duties

  • Oversee and supervise the culinary crew, offering direction and assistance to guarantee smooth operations.
  • Cook and prepare a range of foods while following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • In order to guarantee the quality and uniformity of each meal served, supervise the food preparation procedures.
  • Uphold strict guidelines for food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
  • Contribute to menu development and planning by taking client preferences and seasonal products into account.
  • Keep an eye on the food supply inventory levels and help with ordering as needed.
  • Educate new hires on kitchen processes, safety measures, and cooking methods.
  • Work along with the front desk employees to provide smooth service during peak hours.

Requirements

  • No prior experience is necessary.
  • There will be training available.
  • Strong familiarity with food safety laws and kitchen best practices.
  • Outstanding team management abilities with the capacity to inspire and guide a varied group of people.
  • The capacity to focus on details while working well under duress.
  • Organisational abilities and the capacity to successfully multitask in a hectic setting.

Hourly wage: £12.20-£16.70
