Your responsibilities

• Provide a fast, efficient and friendly checkout experience for customers.
• Ensure the checkout area is properly equipped and ready for customers throughout the day.
• Accurately scan/register products and process customer payments according to IKEA routines.
• Handle cash and payments securely, accurately and responsibly.
• Support customers with frequently asked questions and provide appropriate solutions.
• Identify and resolve payment-related issues within your authorization level and escalate when required.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues.
• Listen to customer feedback and share relevant information with your manager.
• Understand how your actions impact stock accuracy, customer satisfaction and store results.
• Contribute to checkout action plans and support the achievement of service targets.
• Work closely with other functions and colleagues to improve the overall shopping experience.
• Support and share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
