The translator will convert educational and media content from Russian into clear, natural, and accurate English, ensuring that meaning, tone, and context are preserved. Day-to-day tasks include translating articles, scripts, learning modules, and supporting materials; reviewing and revising translations for consistency and quality; and collaborating with editors, instructional designers, and project managers to meet content and style guidelines. The translator will also perform terminology research, maintain glossaries, and adhere to deadlines and file management procedures. Occasional participation in virtual meetings and feedback sessions will be required to align with project goals and standards.</p><p><br></p><p>📍 <strong>Job Location:Client Site – Odisha, India</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated proficiency in Russian and English, with certified or recognized professional credentials in translation from Russian to English.</li><li>Experience translating educational, academic, or media content, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and accessibly.</li><li>Strong skills in editing, proofreading, and quality assurance to ensure stylistic consistency, grammatical accuracy, and adherence to guidelines.</li><li>Ability to conduct terminology and subject-matter research to maintain accurate and up-to-date vocabulary and concepts.</li><li>Comfort with digital tools such as CAT software, online glossaries, content management systems, and collaborative platforms.</li><li>Excellent time management and organizational skills, with reliability in meeting deadlines in a remote, contract environment.</li><li>Effective written communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Relevant higher education in Translation, Linguistics, Language Studies, Education, or a related field is preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p>
