Job Description Summary
Position Overview: The Senior Director will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering operational excellence, driving customer success, and leading strategic growth initiatives for the Grid Software Portfolio. Reporting directly to the Regional Leader of Services, this position focuses on managing key accounts, developing strategies, overseeing service delivery, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, financial acumen, and strategic vision to ensure the success of Grid Software Business.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the Grid Software objectives to drive growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the Portfolio, providing strategic insights and acting as a trusted advisor at the C-suite level.
  • Analyze market trends and industry insights to inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to improve Grid Software offerings, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiencies.

Account and Service Management:
  • Collaborate with other functions to Establish and maintain strategic account plans, ensuring alignment with customer goals and organizational priorities.
  • Serve as a primary point of escalation for key accounts, managing relationships to achieve mutual business success.
  • Oversee the delivery of complex projects and services, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project performance through KPIs, addressing risks and opportunities to maintain alignment with strategic objectives.

Operational Excellence:
  • Drive operational rigor in forecasting, financial management, and service delivery processes.
  • Ensure compliance with standards, governance, and quality across all service engagements.
  • Oversee resource planning, including talent acquisition, development, and retention to build high-performing teams.
  • Leverage operational metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Financial and Risk Management:
  • Own profit and loss (P&L) accountability for the service portfolio, including revenue, margin, and cash targets.
  • Manage project budgets, cost efficiency, and financial reporting to support business objectives.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects, services, and customer engagements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve financial, technical, and commercial challenges.


Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in operations, services, or project management within the digital or software industry.
  • Proven track record in managing key accounts and leading high-performance teams in a global, multicultural environment.
  • Expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, ensuring successful delivery against strategic objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends, digital solutions, and customer-centric strategies.
