Building Manager – Job Description Position: Building Manager Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and overall upkeep of the building/facility. Ensure proper maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, civil, housekeeping, and general facility systems . Monitor and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities. Supervise manpower and ensure proper allocation of daily duties and responsibilities. Manage and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and facility-related work. Ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues and minimize operational disruptions. Monitor housekeeping, cleanliness, safety, and overall hygiene standards within the facility. Maintain records of maintenance activities, service reports, vendor details, and other facility-related documentation. Prepare and maintain basic reports using MS Excel and MS Office . Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies. Coordinate with different departments to address building and facility-related requirements. Identify facility-related problems and take timely corrective action. Handle multiple maintenance and facility activities efficiently and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Perform any other facility-related duties assigned by management. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in building, facility, or maintenance management. Good working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems . Knowledge of plumbing, civil work, housekeeping, and general maintenance . Strong manpower handling and supervision skills. Good vendor and contractor management skills. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities. Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and documentation . Responsible, proactive, and capable of managing multiple activities simultaneously.
