BPO Recruiter (WFH)


About the job:

As a BPO Recruiter at OpenHire, you will be responsible for managing high-volume recruitment requirements across the complete hiring lifecycle. The role involves sourcing candidates, conducting initial screening, coordinating interviews, maintaining recruitment pipelines, and ensuring candidates move smoothly through the hiring process. This role is ideal for proactive recruiters who are comfortable working with targets, handling multiple requirements simultaneously, and communicating with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle high-volume hiring requirements for BPO, customer support, voice, non-voice, sales, and related roles.
2. Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic interviews to assess candidate suitability, communication skills, experience, and role alignment.
3. Clearly explain job responsibilities, compensation, work location, shifts, eligibility criteria, and other requirements to candidates.
4. Maintain active candidate pipelines and ensure a consistent flow of qualified candidates for open positions.
5. Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, managing schedules and follow-ups.
6. Track candidate progress from sourcing and screening through interviews, selection, offers, and joining.
7. Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, MIS reports, and candidate records using Excel or Google Sheets.
8. Follow up consistently with selected candidates to minimize drop-offs and improve joining ratios.
9. Coordinate with internal recruitment teams and clients to understand changing hiring requirements and priorities.
10. Meet defined sourcing, screening, interview, and joining targets within assigned timelines.
11. Support candidate onboarding and joining formalities, ensuring all required documentation is completed.

Other Requirements:

  1. 1. 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in BPO, volume hiring, staffing, or recruitment agency environments.
  2. 2. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
  3. 3. Experience handling high-volume recruitment and multiple open positions simultaneously.
  4. 4. Familiarity with LinkedIn, Naukri, Apna, and other major talent portals.
  5. 5. Comfort conducting candidate screening and initial telephonic interviews.
  6. 6. Good understanding of recruitment processes, candidate pipelines, interview coordination, and follow-ups.
  7. 7. Comfort using Excel or Google Sheets for recruitment tracking and MIS reporting.
  8. 8. Target-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage deadlines without constant supervision.
  9. 9. Strong follow-up skills and the ability to maintain professional communication with candidates.
  10. 10. Willingness to work in a fast-paced recruitment environment and handle changing hiring requirements.
  11. 11. Experience in BPO hiring, customer support hiring, or bulk recruitment is an advantage.
