Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Biomedical Researcher for Testing role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Biomedical
Researcher will design, execute, and document laboratory and in silico experiments to evaluate hypotheses generated by the OpenBioCure platform. Day-to-day tasks include planning study protocols, preparing samples and reagents, conducting assays and validation tests, analyzing experimental data, and aligning findings with platform-generated insights. The role involves close collaboration with data scientists, software engineers, and other researchers to refine AI models, improve data quality, and ensure that research outputs are robust and reproducible.The Biomedical
Researcher will also contribute to technical reports, publications, and internal knowledge-sharing to support product development and scientific partnerships.Qualifications
- Strong foundation in biomedical sciences, such as molecular biology, pharmacology, immunology, or related fields, with experience in experimental design and hypothesis testing.
- Hands-on laboratory skills, including sample preparation, cell and tissue handling, common assays (e.g., PCR, ELISA, flow cytometry, microscopy), and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Data analysis capabilities using statistical tools and scientific software (e.g., R, Python, GraphPad Prism), with the ability to interpret results and communicate clear conclusions.
- Familiarity with scientific literature mining, database searching (e.g., PubMed, clinical trial registries), and evidence synthesis to support experimental planning.
- Effective communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and documentation, and for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, maintain accurate records, and meet research milestones.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Biomedical Science, Bioengineering, or a related discipline; equivalent experience in a research or industry setting will also be considered.
- Experience working with AI-enabled or data-driven research platforms and prior industry or translational research experience are beneficial.
