Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for a B.E./B.Tech Civil Engineer – Quantity Take-Off & Estimation, based in the Greater Delhi Area, with two positions available. The role involves preparing detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications, developing cost estimates, and supporting tender preparation and bid submissions. The Civil Engineer will coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to validate quantities, update BOQs, and track cost variations. Daily tasks include reviewing engineering drawings, verifying measurements, maintaining estimation databases, and preparing reports for management review. The role also includes assisting in planning activities, supporting value engineering, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. Job Responsibilities - Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from architectural, structural and civil engineering drawings. - Extract and calculate quantities using AutoCAD and other quantity-estimation/measurement software. - Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity statements and estimates. - Analyse drawings and specifications to identify the scope of work and required quantities. - Assist in preparation of detailed cost estimates and rate analysis. - Coordinate with the engineering and project teams for clarification of drawings and quantities. - Check and verify quantities prepared from drawings and ensure accuracy. - Maintain project-wise quantity and estimation records. Mandatory Qualification & Skills - B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering – Preferred/Mandatory as you decide. - Excellent knowledge of Quantity Take-Off is essential. - Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD. - Experience with quantity estimation/costing software will be preferred. - Good knowledge of MS Excel. Added Advantage - Working knowledge of PlanSwift will be an added advantage. - Experience in civil construction/EPC estimation will be preferred.
