Assistant Sales Manager/Sales Manager ( IT hardware & Networking, Telecom Product Sale Exp Only)

<strong>About The Role<br><br></strong>Our client, a leading organization in the IT Networking, Wireless, Telecom, ISP, VoIP, and Enterprise Distribution sector, is looking for an experienced and target-oriented AM Sales/Sales Manager to drive business growth and expand its customer and channel partner network.<br><br><ul><li>IT Hardware and Networking Product Sale experience mandatory.<br><br></li></ul>What you'll do<br><br>The AM Sales/Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing channel partnerships, managing key customers, generating new business, and driving sales growth across the assigned territory.<br><br>The ideal candidate should have strong B2B and channel sales experience, good knowledge of IT networking and telecom products, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage and lead a sales team.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong>Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.<br><br>Develop and execute sales plans for the assigned territory and product categories.<br><br>Identify and acquire new customers, dealers, distributors, channel partners, system integrators, ISPs, and enterprise accounts.<br><br>Manage existing customers and generate repeat business.<br><br>Drive upselling, cross-selling, and new product sales.<br><br>Maintain the sales pipeline, quotations, follow-ups, order status, and closure reports.<br><br>Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, resellers, system integrators, and key customers.<br><br>Conduct partner engagement activities, product discussions, and sales follow-ups.<br><br>Support partners with product information, pricing, availability, and schemes.<br><br>Resolve customer and partner issues related to pricing, delivery, stock, credit, payment, and support.<br><br>Identify new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.<br><br>Lead pricing negotiations and high-value deal closures.<br><br>Track competitor activities and market trends.<br><br>Lead, guide, and monitor the sales team to achieve business targets.<br><br>Review sales activities, customer follow-ups, quotations, closures, and CRM reports.<br><br>Coordinate with Technical, Accounts, Operations, Logistics, Sales Support, and Store teams for smooth order processing.<br><br>Follow up on payments, credit approvals, dispatches, invoicing, and customer confirmations.<br><br>Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely collection from customers and channel partners.<br><br>What we're looking for<br><br><strong>Qualification & Experience<br><br></strong>Graduate in any discipline.<br><br>MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management will be preferred.<br><br>Engineering or technical background will be an added advantage.<br><br>5–8 years of experience in B2B Sales.<br><br>Experience in IT Networking, Telecom, ISP, Wireless, or Enterprise Sales preferred.<br><br>Minimum 2–3 years of team handling or senior sales responsibility preferred.<br><br>Experience with channel partners, system integrators, OEMs, and distributors will be an advantage.<br><br>Candidates with knowledge of MikroTik, Cambium Networks, Mimosa, Grandstream, Ubiquiti, TP-Link, Cisco, Juniper, Digisol, Optitera, AirPro, or similar brands will be preferred.<br><br>Knowledge of routers, switches, wireless access points, VoIP/IP phones, fiber networking, Wi-Fi, switching, routing, VLAN, and related networking solutions will be an advantage.<br><br>Perks & benefits<br><br><ul><li>Competitive Salary</li><li>Opportunity to work with leading networking and telecom brands.</li><li>Exposure to ISP, telecom, enterprise, and channel partner markets.</li><li>Fast-growing organization with strong product portfolio.</li><li>Performance-driven growth opportunity.</li><li>Leadership role with business ownership.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills<br><br></strong>B2B Sales & Channel SalesIT hardware and networking product salesTelecom Product KnowledgeISPWireless & Enterprise SaleExcellent Communication & Presentation SkillsDealer / Distributor / Channel Partner ManagementSales Pipeline & CRM Managements
