Assistant Manager-Direct Tax

The professional will be a part of the tax division for providing Direct Tax Litigation services to reputed Domestic & International Clients from diverse industries . Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) Support senior professionals in Tax litigation matters including preparation & representation of appeals and revisions including at CIT, CIT appeal, PCIT, DRP & ITAT levels. Coordination and representation before authorities in regular assessments and re-assessments. Presenting applications to the competent authority for matters under the tax treaties. Independently review, manage & execute Tax Compliance assignments including Tax Returns. Independently handle matters including refunds, rectification, appeal effect etc. Independently handling interactions with mid and senior management of Client Groups for routine compliances and related matters. Indicative CTC Range: Best in Industry, Commensurate with skill set, experience and linked to meritocracy To qualify for this role, you must have : Requisite Qualification and Experience: Chartered Accountant with 4 to 5 years of post-qualification experience Requisite Experience, Skills & Attributes We seek a candidate with in-depth experience in the above services. Preference shall be given to candidates who possess: Experience in Direct Taxation Litigation at reputed consulting / CA firms / Law firms / Industry. Experience with the Income Tax Department. Expert technical knowledge in terms of understanding legislation.
