Artificial Intelligence (AI) - Internship (WFH)


About the internship:

AI Intern (Fresher)
We are hiring a fresher AI intern to work on an existing business web app. The app already has an in-app AI assistant for chat, summaries, writing help, and simple agents. You will add small features on top of that, using Next.js and REST APIs.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Build and update Next.js API routes that call a language model and return JSON.
2. Write prompts for tasks such as summarizing, drafting text, and creating records from natural language.
3. Connect those APIs to the React UI, including loading and error states.
4. Reuse existing product APIs instead of creating a separate data path.
5. Keep model calls and API keys on the server.
6. Test both success and failure cases, including bad model output and rate limits.
7. Follow the existing code style and raise a pull request for review.

  3. are available for duration of 6 months
  4. have relevant skills and interests
  5. are Computer Science Engineering students


Stipend:

INR₹ 7,000 - 8,000 /month

Other Requirements:

  2. 1. JavaScript and React.
  3. 2. Next.js, including pages that call API routes.
  4. 3. REST APIs: methods, status codes, and JSON requests and responses.
  5. 4. Basic idea of how a chat model works: system prompt, user message, and reading the reply.
  6. 5. Able to read an existing codebase and match its style.
  7. 6. Good to have: one small project that calls a language-model API from a backend. MongoDB or another document database is a plus.
  8. 7. Production experience, model fine-tuning, and research background are not required.
