About the Position

As a Packing & Shifting Associate, you are responsible for packing the products and shipping them to the customers. Pack items for safe delivery, sort products within storage areas, move inventory around the warehouse and ensure customer orders are processed correctly.

This is a physical job; most of your time is spent on your feet walking and handling packages.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Your daily work may include: depending on the department,

  • Receive products into the warehouse.
  • Arrange items by the warehouse they are located in.
  • Pack customers' orders carefully before dispatch.
  • Move products to and from storage areas as required.
  • Check merchandise for damage prior to packing.
  • Label and pack for shipping.
  • Update inventory with hand-held scanning devices.
  • Store things in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Follow warehouse safety guidelines at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.

Your duties will vary depending on which section of the warehouse you work in.
