Q1. How many apprentice seats are available?

AAI Northern Region has notified 205 seats – 80 Graduate, 65 Diploma, and 60 ITI Trade apprentices.

Q2. What is the last date to apply?

Online applications close on 16 September 2026.

Q3. Who can apply?

Indian Nationals domiciled in Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, or Uttarakhand, who passed their degree/diploma/ITI in 2024 or after.

Q4. What is the age limit?

Minimum 18 years, maximum 26 years as on 16 September 2026, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government guidelines.

Q5. Is there an application fee?

No, this recruitment is free of any application fee.

Q6. Is there a written exam?

No. Selection is based on merit in the qualifying examination, followed by document verification, interview, and a medical fitness certificate.

Q7. Does this apprenticeship guarantee a job at AAI?

No. AAI has no obligation to offer regular employment on completion of the apprenticeship, and candidates have no right to claim a job on this basis.
