With a vision to create an enlightened and equitable society, we are committed towards playing a larger role in India’s sustainable development by embedding wider economic, social and environmental objectives through its programmes.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Location of Posting</strong>: Odisha/Jharkhand</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Employment Type</strong>: Fixed term Contract</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Purpose of the Role: </strong>Apply knowledge of engineering technology and agriculture science towards resolving problems and issues concerned with water, land & farm sectors that enhances soil health and promotes sustainable farming practices.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Deliverables:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Conduct site surveys to identify potential sites for watershed development projects.</li><li>Design and cost estimation of soil and water conservation measures.</li><li>Formulation, planning, implementation and monitoring of watershed and climate proofing projects.</li><li>Develop detailed project plans in consultation with local communities and other stakeholders.</li><li>Coordinating with government agencies, NGOs, and other organizations to obtain necessary approvals and permissions for project implementation.</li><li>Provide technical assistance and training to local communities and project partners in areas such as soil conservation, water management and crop cultivation.</li><li>Supervising the construction of various structures required for watershed development, such as check dams, farm ponds and contour trenches.</li><li>Monitor and evaluate the progress of the project and making necessary adjustments to ensure project objectives are met.</li><li>Collect and analyse data related to the project, such as soil and water quality, vegetation cover and crop yields.</li><li>Prepare and maintain project MIS to track progress and for further review by management and other stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards during project implementation.</li><li>Participate in outreach activities to promote the project and its objectives to the local community and other stakeholders.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualification: </strong>A full-time B.Tech degree in Agriculture/Civil Engineering from a reputed Institute.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Work Experience: </strong>3-10 Years of relevant experience</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Technical Skill Sets:</strong></p><ul><li>Community Engagement and Institutional Building</li><li>Data-driven Planning and Monitoring</li><li>Stakeholder and Partnership Management</li><li>Resource Mobilization and Scheme Linkages</li><li>Livelihood Diversification and Allied Activities</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Behavioral Skill Sets:</strong></p><ul><li>Aligned to TATA Values(Integrity, Responsibility, Excellence, Pioneering, Unity & Respect)</li><li>Strong Interpersonal Skills and Collaborative Approach</li><li>Self-Motivated, Result-oriented, Sensitive to cultures & diversity</li><li>Strategic Thinking and Decision Making</li><li>Accountability and Ownership</li></ul><p><br></p>
