Stipend: ₹7,500 per month (Fixed) + Incentives

About the Role

Edurect International is looking for a motivated and communication-oriented Admission Counselling Intern who can interact with prospective students, understand their career and learning requirements, explain our courses, and help convert interested leads into admissions.

The role will primarily focus on student counselling, lead follow-ups, admission conversions, and maintaining communication with prospective students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
  • Counsel students regarding the courses and programmes offered by Edurect International.
  • Understand the student's educational background, career goals, and training requirements before recommending suitable programmes.
  • Explain course details, fees, duration, certifications, internship opportunities, learning outcomes, and other relevant information.
  • Follow up regularly with interested students and nurture leads until admission.
  • Convert qualified enquiries into successful admissions.
  • Respond to incoming student enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain proper records of leads, conversations, follow-ups, and admission status.
  • Update the company's lead/admission tracking sheets or CRM regularly.
  • Coordinate with the training and management team regarding batches, course availability, and student requirements.
  • Achieve monthly admission and conversion targets assigned by the company.
  • Build a positive relationship with prospective and enrolled students.

Compensation

The intern will receive:

  • ₹7,500 fixed monthly stipend
  • ₹1,000 incentive for every successful admission

There is no fixed upper limit on incentives, so earnings can increase based on the number of successful admissions generated.

Working Schedule

  • Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Sunday: Weekly off

Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Marathi.
  • Comfortable speaking with students and prospective customers over phone calls.
  • Basic understanding of sales, counselling, or customer communication.
  • Ability to confidently explain courses and handle student queries.
  • Good follow-up and persuasion skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Sheets/Excel and online communication tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote working environment.
  • Must have a laptop, stable internet connection, and phone for work.
  • Target-oriented and willing to take responsibility for admission conversions.

Preferred Candidates

Candidates pursuing or having completed studies in Commerce, Management, Marketing, Business Administration, HR, Mass Communication, or related fields may be preferred.

Freshers who have strong communication and convincing skills are also encouraged to apply.
