2D Animation - Internship (WFH)


About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Create high-quality 2D animations, motion graphics, explainer videos, advertisements, social media content, and visual storytelling assets based on creative briefs.
2. Develop engaging 2D characters, illustrations, scenes, transitions, and animated compositions for marketing and promotional campaigns.
3. Create storyboards, animatics, and visual concepts to translate scripts and creative ideas into compelling animated sequences.
4. Apply principles of animation including timing, spacing, anticipation, squash and stretch, staging, composition, and visual storytelling.
5. Animate characters, objects, typography, illustrations, logos, and graphical elements for digital and social media content.
6. Work with AI-assisted animation and creative workflows to accelerate ideation, asset creation, animation, and post-production.
7. Collaborate with the creative, marketing, design, and production teams to develop visually engaging content aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
8. Edit and enhance animated videos using tools such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software.
9. Maintain consistency in character design, color, typography, composition, animation style, and overall visual identity across projects.
10. Optimize animation and video content for different platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, websites, advertisements, and other digital channels.
11. Experiment with emerging AI animation, motion design, and content creation tools to develop innovative and efficient production workflows.
12. Participate in internal training sessions to learn the latest animation, motion graphics, AI-assisted creative, and digital content production techniques.

Other Requirements:

  1. 1. Candidates pursuing or who have completed a bachelor's/diploma in Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Fine Arts, Film, Mass Communication, or related fields are preferred.
  2. 2. Candidates with a strong animation portfolio, showreel, or personal/academic projects demonstrating 2D animation, motion graphics, character animation, or visual storytelling will be preferred.
  3. 3. Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar animation software is desirable.
  4. 4. Understanding of animation principles, composition, storytelling, typography, color, and visual design is preferred.
  5. 5. Candidates with experience creating short-form content for Instagram, YouTube, advertisements, or other digital platforms will be preferred.
  6. 6. Knowledge of AI-powered creative and animation tools will be an added advantage. Prior AI experience is not mandatory, as training will be provided.
  7. 7. Candidates should demonstrate creativity, strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently on creative assignments.

    Incentive pay: ₹ 2,000 - 6,000 /month

    On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of ₹ 220000 to 240000/year
