തിരുവനന്തപുരം: സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ഐടി അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ വികസന രംഗത്ത് നിർണായക മുന്നേറ്റമായി ഹൈലൈറ്റ് ഗ്രൂപ്പിന്റെ പുതിയ പദ്ധതിയായ ‘യൂ ഹബ് തിരുവനന്തപുരം’ (YOO Hub Trivandrum) ടെക്നോപാർക്കിൽ നിർമ്മാണഘട്ടത്തിലേക്ക് കടന്നു. 300 കോടി രൂപയുടെ നിക്ഷേപത്തോടെ നടപ്പാക്കുന്ന പദ്ധതിയുടെ നിർമ്മാണോദ്ഘാടനം വ്യവസായ, ഐടി, ആർട്ടിഫിഷ്യൽ ഇന്റലിജൻസ് വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി പി. കെ. കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടി നിർവഹിച്ചു.

അഞ്ചായിരത്തിലധികം നേരിട്ടുള്ള തൊഴിലവസരങ്ങൾ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുമെന്നാണ് പദ്ധതിയിലൂടെ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നത്. കേരളത്തെ സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയുടെയും നവീകരണത്തിന്റെയും ആഗോള കേന്ദ്രമാക്കി മാറ്റാനുള്ള ശ്രമങ്ങൾക്ക് പുതിയ കരുത്താകുന്നതാണ് ഈ സംരംഭമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.

ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ആദ്യമായി ‘യൂ’ (YOO) ബ്രാൻഡിന്റെ പേരിൽ വികസിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഐടി വർക്ക്‌സ്‌പേസാണ് ‘യൂ ഹബ് തിരുവനന്തപുരം’. ആഗോള ബ്രാൻഡുകളായ YOO, IWG എന്നിവയുടെ സഹകരണത്തോടെ രൂപംകൊള്ളുന്ന പദ്ധതി, അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര നിലവാരത്തിലുള്ള ഓഫീസ് സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതിലൂടെ വിദേശ കമ്പനികളെയും ഗ്ലോബൽ കാപ്പബിലിറ്റി സെന്ററുകളെയും ആകർഷിക്കുമെന്ന് വിലയിരുത്തപ്പെടുന്നു.

ടെക്നോപാർക്ക് സിഇഒ സന്ദീപ് കുമാർ ഐഎഎസ് പദ്ധതിയെ കേരളത്തിന്റെ ഐടി ചരിത്രത്തിലെ സുപ്രധാന നാഴികക്കല്ലായി വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചു. നിലവിൽ പ്രീമിയം ഗ്രേഡ്-എ ഐടി സ്പേസുകൾക്ക് വിപണിയിൽ വലിയ ആവശ്യകതയുണ്ടെന്നും 5.37 ലക്ഷം ചതുരശ്ര അടി വിസ്തീർണമുള്ള ഈ സമുച്ചയം ആ ആവശ്യത്തിന് മികച്ച പരിഹാരമാകുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.

കേരളത്തിൽ മികച്ച സാങ്കേതിക പ്രതിഭകൾ ലഭ്യമാണെങ്കിലും ലോകോത്തര ഓഫീസ് അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യങ്ങളുടെ കുറവ് ആഗോള കമ്പനികളുടെ വ്യാപനത്തിന് വെല്ലുവിളിയാണെന്ന് ഹൈലൈറ്റ് ഗ്രൂപ്പ് സിഇഒ അജിൽ മുഹമ്മദ് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. ആ കുറവ് നികത്തുകയും അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര നിലവാരത്തിലുള്ള ഐടി പ്രവർത്തന കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ് പദ്ധതിയുടെ ലക്ഷ്യമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

1.88 ഏക്കർ സ്ഥലത്ത് വികസിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ‘യൂ ഹബ് തിരുവനന്തപുരം’ പദ്ധതിയിൽ ബേസ്മെന്റ്, ഗ്രൗണ്ട് ഫ്ലോർ, രണ്ട് നിലകളിലായുള്ള പാർക്കിംഗ് സൗകര്യം, 15 പ്രീമിയം ഓഫീസ് നിലകൾ എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടും. സാങ്കേതിക കമ്പനികൾ, ഗവേഷണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾ, സ്റ്റാർട്ടപ്പുകൾ, ഗ്ലോബൽ കാപ്പബിലിറ്റി സെന്ററുകൾ എന്നിവയെ ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടാണ് സമുച്ചയത്തിന്റെ രൂപകൽപ്പന.

പരിസ്ഥിതി സൗഹൃദ നിർമാണ മാതൃകയിലും പദ്ധതി ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്. യു.എസ്. ഗ്രീൻ ബിൽഡിംഗ് കൗൺസിലിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന പരിസ്ഥിതി മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങളിലൊന്നായ ‘LEED Platinum v4.1 BD+C’ സർട്ടിഫിക്കേഷൻ ഇതിനകം പദ്ധതിക്ക് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ഉദ്ഘാടനച്ചടങ്ങിൽ തിരൂരങ്ങാടി എംഎൽഎ പി.എം.എ. സമീർ, ഇലക്ട്രോണിക്സ് ആൻഡ് ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ ടെക്നോളജി വകുപ്പ് സ്പെഷ്യൽ സെക്രട്ടറി സീറാം സാംബശിവ റാവു ഐഎഎസ്, കെഎസ്ഐടിഐഎൽ മാനേജിങ് ഡയറക്ടർ സന്തോഷ് ബാബു ഐഎഎസ്, കിൻഫ്ര എംഡി സന്തോഷ് കോശി, ഹൈലൈറ്റ് ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ചെയർമാൻ പി. സുലൈമാൻ തുടങ്ങിയവർ പങ്കെടുത്തു.
